Lovely food, great service, affordable prices. Nicest Indian in Widnes!!!

My friends recommended Vatikka to us. We went mid week and had the 5 courses for £9.95. I have eaten at lots of Indian restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. I will defo go again and will pass on my recommendations to my family and friends. We had a lovely meal, Thanx

Had a fantastic meal here on a Tuesday evening. They have an early bird which is £9.95 for five courses - fantastic value. Quite a modern look but still relaxing and the two waiting staff were friendly and very very keen to impress us - they are a new business so it was good to see them taking pride. We live in south Liverpool and made the trip specially to try it out - well worth a quick 20 min drive! Free parking nearby on the roads. The food was actually quite traditional, bordering on modern with the presentation - but certainly not pretentious or mean on portions. Drinks price average. Didn't try the "tapas" feature they are keen on pushing - will do next time! I'd recommend going along and giving a new local business a try. I do also admire the other Widnes indian that offered similar value with a Sunday offer - Desii - but this looks a good down to earth alternative!

Had a takeaway delivered last week. Everything was first class the food and service were excellent. Will definitely be using this restaurant in the very near future.

Have eaten at Widnes's new Indian Restaurant Vatikka in Widnes Road, on a few occasions now and have had a few takeaways and have to say the food is the best Indian we have tried. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant offering superb quality fresh food at reasonable prices. The menu is different to anywhere we have tried before and the Indian Tapas is a unique twist on an Indian menu. I highly recommend the Lamb Shank, Vatikka Biriyani was superb too. The early diner menu at £9.95 is brilliant value and cheaper than a takeaway anywhere. A nice wine list to complement the cuisine and at a good price. Well worth the drive over to try. It really is a new fabulous find for Widnes and the service is fab. Very accommodating on how you want the spice. The owners should be very proud they have a great little place. We are regulars and have told all our friends. 10/10!! Just go there you wont be disappointed

I have now had 2 takeaways from Vatikka and they were both very good. Fresh ingredients and tasty. My wife said the best Sheek Kebab she has had. If you dine in you have even more variety on the menu and they do a good selection of fish dishes. They are also doing deliveries, excellent service in this weather.

i went in to dine in vatikka with my mates and it is a comfortable place to dine in, the staffs are really nice n friendly, it has an open kitchen so you can see you're food cooked and I've not seen many restaurants with open plan kitchen. The menu is spot on, soo many mouthwatering dishes to choose from,ill be back vatikka

we went to the vatikka as a party of 16people.one fabulous restaurant,contemporary warm feeling.the best Indian in the whole of Cheshire.the food is so nice in flavour,the presentation spot one.you get the perfect service once you walk in till the end.Indian tapas this is the place,also the menu you get spoilt for choice.highly recommended.got to say there are Indian restaurants but they are in a class of there own.

Can't believe I've lived less than a mile from this restaurant for over 4 years and never been until tonight. Absolutely fantastic food, particularly recommend the "Saffron Royal" starter for 2. Will be a regular there in future!

we went to efes for a friends 18th birthday we were a big party and the food and service were both excellent we had no problems waiting for the food to arrive, the staff were all friendly and the belly dancer was amazing. We booked a table for about 8.30 on a Friday night, the place has a lively atmosphere but the piped music was rather too loud, it was necessary to shout in order to converse. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food was of good quality. I went for the crispy duck legs and my wife had some scallops. The portion sizes for the small mains were far too small. The dish said 'scallops', there were two! Call me picky if you like but that is a mean serving. I had a Peroni beer to drink and was charged nearly £6, thats a mark up of more than 3 which is greedy on the part of the owners. The restaurant has a chain feel even though it is independent. In summary it is quite nice but significantly overpriced. I would not hurry back

TOP MARKS!!! Will most certainly go again and again to the Saffron by far the best Indian restaurant I have been to which is saying something as I have been to over one hundred different Indian establishments over the years throughout the country.

I have ate at Brewers Fayre for my birthday for the past 3 years. We have also attended for meals on the occasion and have found it to be a very nice place and excellent service.

I`ve had the pleasure of dining here many times. As a regular diner at Indian restaurants I can catagorically say that the Saffron is the best Indian restaurant that I have ever visited. I hope to re-visit again in the near future.

Simply a very enjoyable experience complimented by excellent food. No bad things to say about the entire experience.
