This is superb. We've tried the evening menu and the Sunday buffet and each time the food has been wonderful. They have the freshest, softest fluffy nan breads and the most delicious Dhansak I've ever had. Each dish is fresh, clean and delicious. Indian cooking at it's best. And it's refreshing to see some different and unusual dishes included in the buffet instead of the usual run of the mill selection. The decor is wonderfully quirky too- check out the ladies rest room!

Waited ages for food that was very greasy even though only two other couples were in. Polish waitress was very rude. Would not recommend a visit.

after receiving a leaflet through the door for an eat as much as you can buffet at the indigo palace we decided to fulfill our huge indian appetites and give this a go. we arrived to a cold restaurant where we were the only customers. we sat down and ordered 2 for the buffet. we awaited being invited to the buffet table but got offered poppadoms instead. we then thought maybe we go up to the buffet for our next course but this never happened. instead we got served a couple of starters on a plate to share... maybe a buffet main course????? no such luck.... we got served 1 korma and 1 beef dish in dessert bowls with 2 sides. what happened to the buffet????? we then got offered desserts which we were told we'd have to pay for. we decided not to stay in this place any longer and asked for the bill... to our shock we found that we had also been charged for the poppadoms we had to start with. we left hungry and very disappointed, would not recommend this poor excuse for a restaurant and will certainly not return. casanova in hungerford offers 2 courses for £10 and is of top quality in a wonderful environment, will definitely stick to this restaurant in the future.

If you appreciate surly, unhelpful staff and a restaurant that believes it is too upmarket to accommodate children, coupled with a mediocre menu, then this is the place for you!

We came across this Pub by accident and found it was both Pub and excellent Indian Restaurant. We have been back and it was just as good as we remembered. Lovely setting in the Village of Ham. Go and try it.

What a great experience, we first visited here two weeks ago for a sunday buffet lunch at £7.00/head. Incredible value and great choice of food.

Originally known as the Harrow Inn, this unostentatious Wiltshire hostelry has been impressively transformed by Roger and Sue Jones, who have turned it into a fully-fledged country restaurant famed for its remarkable wine cellar and top-flight, seriously accomplished cooking: a Michelin star is the latest accolade to come its way. 'Real food' sourced from local and specialist producers across the UK forms the backbone of Roger Jones' menu, whether it's Northumberland venison, fish from the Brixham day boats or salt marsh lamb from Harlech. Roast English grey partridge comes with apple sauce and parsnip purée, Gloucester Old Spot pork appears as a threesome involving fillet, belly and a faggot, while fillets of line-caught sea bass are paired with scallop and banana spring rolls and Thai chilli jam. Oriental influences also crop up in - say - a carpaccio of Aberdeen Angus beef with wasabi, soy and enoki mushrooms or fillet of John Dory with tempura of Cornish lobster, while desserts keep it simple with treacle tart and banana ice cream or lime and ginger crème brûlée. Each dish is flagged with an appropriate recommendation from the Harrow's extraordinary cellar. Roger Jones' passion for food is certainly matched by his on-going love affair with wine. His stunning 900-bin list, 'the size of a small encyclopedia', has garnered a fistful of awards (mostly recently Wine List of the Year from the AA, who described it as 'a list you don't want to put down'). The owners also hold regular tasting and even have their own wine business, Harrow Wine Cellars.

The ambience was lively but the food was disappointing and they don't take kindly to complaints about the it.
