Balti Mahal – WorcesterWe had a FAB pre theatre dinner at your restaurant recently, and were served a superb house wine (merlot). Can you please give me the name of this wine. Many Thanks, Terry.
Benedictos Italian Restaurants – WorcesterBrilliant pub ! Delicious home made pub food. Amazing Sunday lunch. Worth a visit !!
The Crown at Martley – WorcesterI believe the Bull Ring Chippy in St Johns Worcester should be voted the best chippy in Worcester. Big Portions Crispy Batter everything great!!!!!
Bull Ring Chippy – WorcesterNew owners about Aug 2012. Nice little cosy pub. Food not much to write home about sadly. Was a "locals" pub but has changed like many country pubs. Probably one of the better ones of its type.
Royal Oak – WorcesterI am a long distance truck driver who had broken down near by and was looking for somewhere close by to eat. The mechanic who was working on my truck recommended Bridges I was not dressed for the occasion but was treated with the same respect as I would have expected had i been dressed in a suit. The carvery was the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommended
Bridges Carvery – WorcesterVisited Bridges on 13April for meal and show, the carvery meal was very good and considering there were 2 coaches the service was quite quick however the entertainment was quite frankly rubbish. It was so bad it was embarrassing, so amateurish my kids primary school could do better.
Bridges Carvery – Worcesterordered special on Wednesday took 2 hours to arrive, well actually it has not arrived yet at 22.05. fed up waiting told it would be 40 minutes. my recommendation is don't bother if your hungry there are plenty of other Indians in Worcester who actually care about their service.
Petes Indian – Worcesterdelicious food and excellent friendly service in a cosy atmosphere
Nightingale – WorcesterI love the Barn Owl for many reasons. The lovely big garden, the traditional "Barn " Frontage, the Cask Ales that have just been re-introduced, the lovely staff, or the massive 2 for 1 menu and specials boards. But most of all its because I am made to feel as if I am the most important customer that has ever graced their Hostelry. Just goes to show that not all "branded Pubs" are the same.
Barn Owl – WorcesterDONT BOTHER THE FOOD IS absolutly dreadfull
Lenchford Inn – WorcesterNo hassle getting a table for four at lunchtime. Although the place was busy, our orders were taken and promptly served. The menu is quite extensive but not over expensive and everyone enjoyed their meal. My only moan is the fact that the waitress stands with the tray of condiments and waits while everyone is served, then takes the tray away never to be seen again. Some folk like more than one spoon of french mustard on their steak. "There you go" does not go down too well when being served.
Nightingale – Worcesterabsolute rubbish dont bother with it
The Cricketers – WorcesterMy husband and I visited Monsoon in Worcester without booking ahead on a quiet week night after being attracted by its modern and attractive exterior. We entered by the back door and passed the delicious-looking buffet table on the way through to the main restaurant and I must say we were very much looking forward to trying it, as we'd never had an Indian buffet before. However, the young waiter that met us as we came in did not even acknowledge us with so much as a smile, let alone a 'Hello and welcome'. He simply indicated that we should follow him through and he showed us a table in the main restaurant and handed us a couple of menus. Still, he did not speak to us, but started folding our napkins ready for our use. As he was doing so he spotted someone he obviously recognised as they passed the restaurant and ran to the window to look on after them. Admittedly, at this point of the evening, Monsoon was far from busy: indeed, we were the only customers at theis point, but our waiter acted as if we weren't there either! He then left us for who knows where. The older barman saw that we were ready to order and asked us what we would like. When we said we'd like to try the buffet, he tutted and said "Oh, you're not sposed to be here; the buffet's in the back. Didn't he [the waiter] say?" We had to reply that he hadn't said a single word to us. The older gentleman apologised and showed us through to the ante-room where the buffet was. The food, we have to say, was delicious, tasty and had a good array of traditional and more modern Indian dishes. However, my husband noticed that the naan breads were cold: when this was spotted by the older waiter he offered to replace the breads with fresh ones, which we were grateful for. 20 minutes later, though, neither the waiter or the naan breads were apparent, so we did without. We continued to enjoy the rest of our food accompanied with a couple of Indian Lagers. The bill came to £24.60 and my husband and I discussed whether we would be leaving a tip due to the poor service thus far. At this point, our earlier, younger waiter returned to collect our payment. He picked up the £25 and simply asked "Do you want the change back?" !!!!!!!! I have to say my husband replied "No, don't worry about it". We usually tip much more generously but the service at Monsoon was awful and severely lets down the lovely food. It seems that Monsoon is trading on its trendy decor and good menu but has let its service slip to very poor standards. I am afraid to say that, despite the food, we will not be returning.

Akaash Balti Restaurant – Worcesterrat infested, sell used food as busy times, chicken smelt off when i was cutting it. To be truthful the place looks nice and clean from the outside but its different when you work there. They scam social security benefits and don't even pay tax on there earnings. They say the food is fresh but they only cook the chicken and meat twice a week then use that even if it smells off. King prawns are the worst - SMELL THEM! for you eat them as they use them after they have gone off they just soak it it lemon juice so you cant smell it .THEY ONLY GOOD THING I CAN SAY IS THAT THE NAANS WERE OK I WONT EAT ANY THING FROM THERE EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH . THATS MY OPINION
Monsoon Restaurant – Worcesterthis restaurant is horrible the food is minging and the staff well..there so rude its unbelieveable!
