Visited the Dormy House for the lunch at the weekend and was very impressed. It’s a completely new take on a country house hotel with none of the chintz that can sometimes bedevil these venues. Very modern, very stylish. Planning to go back for an overnight stay now and to take advantage of their spa. It’s very close to Broadway too which is a beautiful spot.

Last night I get a phone call from a director telling me its cancelled. why? I have online bookings from b.ham, would anyone out there book a meal for 2 or 4, 4 months in advance. R.I.P. IGNITE

Cobwebs – EveshamI love this place, relaxed and informal, good music, friendly staff and good quality menu. They do loads of food for gluten and wheat allergies and for vegans. The best place in Evesham by far.

Norton Grange Tavern Table – EveshamWe visited the Swan on Saturday after a lovely stroll around the picturesque village of Broadway. The place has a modern yet rustic feel. the food was good. We chose from the set menu. The service was very slow, however it was explained to us professionally, that they were a man down that day. I would recommend this place.
The Swan in Broadway – EveshamHidden away at the end of Boat Lane, this place is well worth finding. The bread pudding is legendary, the full English breakfast a world of its own and the Sunday carvery the best for miles.
Raphaels Restaurant – EveshamVast improvement in all aspects. Great atmosphere created after the refurbishment with lovely warming colours. Brilliant presentation of food and good service. A great reception too. Will be returning soon!

Bridge Inn – EveshamLovely location, overlooking the River Avon. Recently reopened after full refurbishment following the summer floods, this is definitely somewhere to aim for if in the area. Food is well cooked, hot and nicely served. Good selection. Children friendly & a caravan site at the rear. I have eaten here several times. Very welcoming!
Fish and Anchor – EveshamI have been visiting the hotel for a while now and every time gets better! They do amazing birthday parties for the adults and as for the children they have a great play area, as I have experienced when I was younger. I say the cost of the food was average because for what it was it really was amazing! I would definitely recommend the Evesham Hotel.
