We had a lovely evening here. The service was great , the food was amazing and the restaurant itself is a friendly, laid back venue to relax and enjoy a tasty meal with friends

What an excellent experience we had. We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff and shown to our table. Matt then introduced us to Ben our waiter for the evening. The food was exceptional and the service the same. Portion sizes were deceptive, I thought they were small on first seeing them but they were just the right size. We enjoyed the homemade crisps and dip. The mains were outstanding and nice to know that all were sourced locally. Nothing was too much trouble, even asking for a liqueur coffee that wasn't on the menu. We will certainly be going back again and very soon.

4 of us ate here 29/05/21. From the moment we arrived everything was at the standard of a very high end restaurant. All dishes tasting superb and presented beautifully. Can’t wait to eat here again.

There aren't enough superlatives to use to describe the evening menu. Between us we had the beef, cod and pork belly main courses. All were exceptional and the presentation was outstanding. The puddings were sublime, chocolate tart, lemon meringue and doughnuts with coffee pannacotta. Ingredients are locally sourced , bread is made on site and everything is executed to an incredibly high standard. Matt the restaurant manager kindly comped the table with pork scratching which everyone raved about due to their lightness and almost popcorn like appearance. This is an incredibly creative chef at work and I honestly believe once word spreads we'll struggle to get table. I'm looking forward to trying the coffee shop next and will definitely return for future evening meals.

We really enjoyed our visit to Ial. Food was good quality very tasty with excellent presentation. Right size portions for me, if you have a large appetite may be a good idea to order more side dishes. I did have pud which was delicious. Service great, all very polite and helpful.. Location good with inside and outside eating. I’m looking forward to trying the evening meal which looked good. Thumbs up from me. Well done Ial restaurant

Just returned from eating a superb lunch at this lovely restaurant which is part of College Cambria . Really nicely cooked & presented. Well done everyone for the lovely welcome too . A lovely & much needed addition to Wrexham . Can't wait to eat with you again .

Hi I'm complaining about my visit there last nite went there for my birthday meal with another couple singing you're praises to then find plastic in my food that put me right off then told waitor that wasn't polagetic at all and not really interested then they looked they the food then to be told that a customer or he was making out I put it there and nothing was done about it we then left paying in full with hardly nothing to eat the 4 of us was feeling sick the thought he said Any one could have put stuff in you food that's not hygiene enough as I Work in customer service this was not given at all u just took our money knowing we only got there and not happy the manage was awar to this point very dissapointed as we came all away from Connahs quay I have taken photos and will be doing a review on this with trip advisor and ur web site if I don't hear from you we wasted £59 on hardly nothing need to work on customer service and not make out its the customer fault .

Called in for a meal with my 3 friends. Very friendly welcome, ordered meal which came quickly. Food was good but a couple of things could have been better. Nasty tinned peas, frozen are much better, horrid iceberg lettuce. We then ordered tea and this came in thick small cups with a tea bag floating in each cup, no fresh milk but plastic pots. The food was delicious and plentiful and good value for money, but lacked a little finesse. Would go again. Toilets were clean but there was a big roll of paper to tear off to dry hands.

Gotta be the best original in Wales but without the newspaper!! ;)

Very poor when with my boy food was not nice sent it back waitting over one hour one lady had hair in her pudding would not go back there

I went to the Nags Head this weekend... Food an atmosphere was fantastic....Great family pub... I would recommend this to anybody.. I will be visiting again in a few weeks... Cant wait!!!
