I visited Cote on Friday 27th July 2012 for the 2nd time as the 1st visit left such an impression on me. Great food an atmosphere with attentive staff. I am sorry to say that the 2nd visit did not live up to the 1st visit and I was truly dissapointed. I'd taken my girlfriend and I won't be rushing back the service was terrible in that we were left waiting the whole evening to order everything.......

Enjoyed it. Friendly, attentive but not intrusive service. Tap water provided at table without asking, A good selection of wines by the glass. Frites, steak and poached eggs are all a test of a brasserie kitchen. Cote in Reading passed with flying colours.

Visited Cote in Reading at the Oracle on 23rd April We had good service from arrival and the food was very nice, we both had a starter and main and a sweet. I had Mussels as a starter...delicious and a Seafood Parmentier for my Main also very good I think the food was fairly priced and food was served fairly quickly Good atmosphere I would recommend the restaurant Thanks Steve
