My boyfriend and I ate at Milano last night as a celebration of 5 years together. The atmosphere was relaxed and I was surprised at how comfortably busy it seemed despite being a tuesday night. We were served by several different waiters but that did not bother us as the service was good all round. The food was delicious - I had the chicken risotto which was easily the best I have eaten for a while. I was surprised at the large portion sizes (and everyone I have spoken about this restaurant has had the same reaction to the portion sizes!) My boyfriend, who can be a fussy eater, had beef fillet which was again generous in size and which looked and tasted fantastic. We ordered some sides with these meals and they were also delicious. Needless to say, we did not have room for the desserts so we polished off our lovely bottle of wine and left with a little more change in our pockets than we had expected. I would recommend this restaurant for its great food and comfortable, unimposing atmosphere.
