I visited here with a friend who was feeling particularly down in the dumps but 5 minutes into our visit had changed her tune!
Although a bit small looking it more than makes up for that with excellent, yes excellent food and wine.
The menu at the time of our visit was quite diverse even though it was very select. The scallops to start were fantastic as was the rissotto. The steak will not be commented on as there are no words to do it justice - a hunk of Argentinian fillet amazingness.
My "gamble" on the Hare paid off like a winning lottery hand and was cooked to perfection with a stunning beetroot and sherry sauce accompaniment.
A good wine selection ended up with me having 3 glasses of the Chile Cahrdonnay! - Suffice to say it was a good job i didn't drive.
The best restaurant food wise i have been to in Cardiff (and i have been to most of them!)
