I have been to Come Enjoy quite a few times and I could definitely say it is the best Chinese I have ever tasted. The staff are courteous and are very knowledgeable. Well worth going. I have also had takeaways from there too after being at the Restaurant. It made that much of an impression on me and my husband.
Well Done Come Enjoy.

I visited this restaurant with my elderly parents at Lunchtime on Saturday 2nd August 2008. I have to admit that this was the worst Chinese meal that I have ever experienced. Honestly, I was nearly sick with the food. I ordered Shredded Beef with Chili. What arrived was a plate of deep fried crispy stings of fat. They just shattered on eating. There was no discernable amount of beef at all. The sauce contained no chili and was of a glutinous nature. My wife didn't are any better. Her Special Chow Mein was not special at all. The meat was old and tasteless, the sauce looked as if it had come from a packet. My parents meal was a little more acceptable. The service was also so bad that by serving some of the dishes and having to wait 10mins for the rest meant that some of the food was cold when we started to eat. There is no excuse for this - we were a party of four and there was only one another couple in the restaurant. I totally agree with the view that you can tell the quality of the restaurant by how busy it is. On this occasion the food was bad, the service was bad and the consequently the place was empty. If these people don't realise this then they'll go under very soon. I'm also angry that such a place is allowed to serve such rubbish quality food to the people of Aberdare. The customers should vote with their feet and walk right past this restaurant.

Chinese cooking at a price you can enjoy and in a restaurant that seems to care for its customers.
I and a lady friend decided to try the Buffet style Chinese meal. Whilst I was unsure of standing up for a Buffet of Chinese food and getting chop suey down my front this was not the case.
It was not a buffet in the English sense of the word. You simply sat at your table and they brought you a buffet menu. From this menu you could decide on any items from the starters (usually 5 for a couple would be great as a starter) and these came. Whilst they are small portions they are nice to get a taste and variety. If you feel inclined you can ask for seconds without any embarrassment (as I did and had a further three starters).
Then the next course was the duck, onions, lettuce and pancakes and is the split between starters and main course. After the Duck there is no returning for starters but the main meals are just a good. You can choose any main meal you wish and compliment them with side dishes of rice and chips and again it is as much as you like. They are average sized portions so be a bit wary of how many you order as there is a note on the menu that the management reserve the right to charge £5 for any un eaten course. I have not heard them charge but I guess on a Saturday night when the drunks get in they may over estimate their capabilities and waste food which I agree cannot be tolerated.
There is no dessert on the menu but after that lot I assure you that room will be at a premium. The food is out of this world and of a very high quality. The buffet costs around £15 or so and the drinks are reasonable and the atmosphere is great and the staff are ever willing to help and advise.
Out of 10 I would say that this rates an 8 1/2 as I think the bang on the head I got in the toilets from a low ceiling deserve a loss of a point for a need to upgrade.
