Ok . outside there are wonderful views, as ruined castle, a wide river estuary and horses clip clopping past ..Inside compared to this VERY disappointing. Furniture looks as if its made out of pallets and the prices are astronomical for both food and drink. Im not saying that the food isn't good but i can get more for my money, cooked as well, presented as well and as tasty for a lot less and not terribly far away. The views are to die for but I don't recommend this place unless u like rustic and have a bottomless pocket

The food was acceptable but very pricey for pub grub

I think the Falstaffian chef in this establishment thinks he's Gordon Ramsey judging by his language, sadly not by his food. The owner was surly and quite frankly feel that the pub is relying on it's good location to be sub standard, very disappointing, mediocre food at a crazy price, the beer was £3.50 too!!

Sunday Lunch was enjoyable. Found a Monday lunch to be good but not a cheap lunch out. Fish meal & Steak Pie meal with 1 side order came to £23. We've eaten better for less, but its still worth it at the end of the day!
