We (a walking group of 8) always stop at the Royal Oak for a meal and whatever real ale is on special offer on the day. We have never had a poor meal here. A closely guarded secret up till now as it is just a little way (not too far) off the Taff Trail. The Landlord and his wife always treat us like special guests even though we are often ringing wet (Rain keeps this part of Wales that healthy green colour!) and muddy boots. Can't speak highly enough of the place.
