Me and my partner just popped in on the of chance this evening and we are so glad we did. My partner had the duck breast which was cooked just beautiful and i had the chicken ala crème with fresh wild mushrooms STUNNING!! they have a lovely display case there full of home made desserts I really am sorry I did not try any but the main was a very generous portion. the waiter we were talking to said the restaurant in under new management, i wish them all the best as the food and service was outstanding I recommend any one to try a full 10/10 in my book

Have been here before in large works' parties, and always rated it, but last week went for the first time as a couple. Was very quiet (it was midweek and very early) but the service was great. We had mussels and spicy prawns to start and the veal Madrid and spaghetti marinara for mains. My prawns were a bit lacking, but my partners' mussels were delicious. His veal was also really good, as was my spaghetti. The sauté potatoes, which are peppered, are a welcome alternative to chips or jacket. Wish the place had a bit more atmosphere, although this may have been because it was a quiet time. A lot cheaper than the Bras, total was about £35, and much better service!
