Is this the 'tea rooms' at the actual Cheshire Farm Ice cream? If so, It is not a tea room. I have been visiting the ice cream farm since it opened in 1986 and outsourcing this cafe was the worst thing. The staff start clearing up at least 30 mins before its due to close. if you want a drink within the hour before it closes you get it in a plastic/cardboard cup. They clear around you. No one calling themselves a tea room would do this. The staff are perfunctory - probably would be excellent with the right training and culture from good management/owners. . I would suggest anyone wanting a genuine tea room experience goes into Tarporley itself. Sorry Ice cream farm - ice cream is great - get rid of the company who owns the cafe.
