Visited this Pub recently, the food is very poor and sub standard and also expensive. Service poor, not a very friendly atmosphere. VERY VERY COLD PLACE, MAKE SURE YOU WEAR WARM CLOTHES WHEN VISITING `THE LAMB INN.

Tried to book a table at The Lamb Inn, but its closed yet again for the second time this year! Is it due to the current climate or is it due to Brakspears very high rent and being tied to them for all wet purchases???

Took my wife here for our anniversary and was worried because I had never been here before. I really didn't need to worry. The food was beautiful the best meal I have had for about 15 months which for the money was great value. The service was wonderful, kind and helpful and the ambience of the place was great, nice quite village, oak beams, comfy temp and really clean (in restaurant and toilets). When we left my wife was very pleased with my choice, on the way home I was trying to think of how the experience could have been better but could not think of any sane improvement. Absolutely fantastic!!

Excellent food, Great atmosphere, very rustic feeling pub, very oldie worldy and quaint. Listed building it was built in the 1700s so it has a great beams stone walls. highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!
