Me and my husband visited this Inn on Monday 27th June 2011. We had a very warm welcome. I had THE most moist chocolate brownie I have EVER had. Home made and WOW it showed! I had a perfect pot of Early Grey tea and sat outside in the garden overlooking the spectacular view that is St Michael's Mount. I would recommend anyone to stop here for a bite to eat. I will most certainly return on my next visit to Cornwall!

Really enjoyed a meal here last week! I had been meaning to eat here for a while but it is a road trip for us.... Worth it though! The atmosphere was lovely, helped by the lighting. The waiter was charming and professional and bucked the norm in these parts by being engaged and happy in his work. The food was refreshingly different using flavour combinations that you don't expect or see very often and above all keeping things simple. Starters of scallops with blood orange salad and Moroccan Chemoula dressing and a twice baked cheese souffle with pecan, fig and chicory impressed us both. Mains of duck with a root veg rosti, perfectly judged greens and a quince and sherry jus and mushroom and blue cheese fettuccine with shallot, rocket and truffle oil was cooked beautifully and had bold, clean and deep flavour. Dessert of rice pudding with rhubarb and a wine with each course, would have cost well over £100 elsewhere but only £80 here. Excellent!
