I held my daughters 21st birthday at Carpe Diem on 11/12/2010 and I would like to say a big thank-you to Michelle and her staff for a fantastic night, the food, venue and service was 1st class. I highly recommend this venue.

We visited Carpe Diem for lunch and even though the food was excellent it was slightly over-priced. The menu is good but not ideally suited for a workers lunch with a bog-standard Burrito costing five pence short of a tenner, tasty but expensive! However, the staff were quite good looking and I suppose you must a premium for looking at them. The decor is good (for Plymouth) but it does resemble a 1980's Wimpy/Little Chef, which is, in a way comforting but not ideal. I did visit some time ago and remember the interior to be much nicer. Am I right? All in all six out of ten, well done, good effort, see me. x

Absolutely fabulous, the refurb has really paid off! I had the spicy meat balls and pasta which was really tasty. Good job guys!

Was disappointed when we realised that they only started serving evening food at 6pm. Tempura Vegetables well worth the wait though- yum yum! The bar staff made an effort with the Pimm's, totally friendly in a very relaxed atmosphere!

i go to carpe diem regularly especially during two for one pizza time, as these are my favourite and cheapest pizza in Plymouth, maybe the world. its a cool place to hang out. the staff are friendly and sexy and the peroni is always good and cheap.

Wow recovering this morning from the most fabulous Friday I?e had in ages, went out for a friends birthday to carpe diem, we made the most of the two for one pizzas which were absolutely delicious and really big, i chose the yella bella which has to be the best vege pizza ive ever had, a really generous loading of roasted veg on a lovely thin base mmmmmm. So then we moved on to the house wine, which to my surprise was actually really really lovely! The real fun started however when it came to cocktail hour, me friend came up with a round of gorgeous looking scarlet drinks that tasted like raspberry heaven in a glass, i was informed these beauties are tartinis; a carpe diem speciality. We managed to fit three rounds into the hour, meaning i also discovered lynchberg lemonades, recommended to me by one of the owners mich which was also great and then followed that with a mojito lovingly prepared by one of the friendly bar girls. i cant even remember what the rest of the evening was like but i remember getting into bed feeling like i had just had the best night, thanks guys ill definitely be back!

I just wanted to say thank you for my lush evening the other day. I came in to Carpe Diem to meet some friends for food and some drinks. We ate some wonderful food that was reasonably priced compared with some of the high cost low taste food experienced at other bar/restaurants in the city. After eating we went down to the bar area where the cocktail hour had started and enjoyed some sweet and tasty cocktails. The staff really made it for us as they were so entertaining and seemed to always have time for you even if they were busy in their duties. We had a wonderful evening and shall definitely be coming back to have some more great times. Respect to someone bringing a quality bar experience to Plymouth. Thanks to the Carpe Diem gang.

I came into Carpe Diem for a quick coffee after work and ended up staying the whole night. It was easy to make myself at home in the beautiful and well thought out settings of Carpe Diem the staff were really friendly without being 'in your face' and the food I tried was excellent. I have now booked a table for Valentine? night and am looking forward to returning to Carpe Diem. Would recommend to anyone;
