This is one of my favourite places to take a guest or girlfriend. Its owned by the guys that own Ali Babbas in town so the food is excellent. Being out of the city centre it is a lot cheaper. I have marked them down on customer service because they are not as attentive as some may like. They are friendly and welcoming and will bend over backwards to help (but you have to ask). I guess its nice not to be fussed over if on a date though. Marked down on ambience too because they play the same Indian music all the time (im a local and a regular, but I doubt anyone else would notice) The food is the real winner, the best Indian I have found. I have taken several people who weren? to keen on Indian or weren? sure about it and they loved it. The only other Indian i would try in Plymouth is veggie perrins. Ive not been there personally but its reputation is fantastic (its a vegetarian Indian restaurant btw). The Ridgeway Balti (as it is now known) is fantastic and very popular with the locals for takeaway. Plenty of parking in one of the 2 large Ridgeway car parks (which are free btw) For a cheap and delicious meal out. This is very hard to beat! Enjoy
