I am always disappointed with the restaurants in Falmouth - it deserves so much better - but at last I've found a place worth a return visit. The menu is simple which means they can cook the stuff quickly and properly, and charge reasonable prices. The starters were good, the main courses good (the duck was great value), and the desserts very good. The atmosphere was excellent - a really cosy, friendly place. We had a very enjoyable night, and felt we'd had value for money. Recommended.

I agree the best place to dine In Falmouth. We had a brilliant night, it was Pepe's birthday and we ended up having a drink and a dance with him to end the night. The mussels in garlic and white wine are the best I have ever tasted.
Powell's Cellars
Now owned by restaurateur Pepe, and called Pepe's Restaurant, this has to be the best place to eat in Falmouth. Very reasonable, wonderful atmosphere and terrific food. Pop in and see Pepe in his Spanish styled cellar restaurant, at the bottom of The High Street, you won't regret it!
