Anatolia, a contemporary Turkish barbecue restaurant, opened in St Annes in 2010. Positioned on Park Road, the double-fronted venue has simple wooden tables with seating for up to 40 diners and the focal point is the large Ocakbasi, an authentic Turkish-style charcoal grill which infuses the marinated meats and vegetables with a trademark smoky taste. The menu offers traditional Turkish classics for eating in or to take away. The menu sees a range of hot and cold starters such as mixed Meze, Imam Bayildi, stuffed vine leaves and plenty of vegetarian choices. Mains offer marinated Shish kebabs, lamb chops, ribs, wings and slow-cooked dishes like Mousakka and lamb shank. More saucy Iskender kebabs, marinated and finished with yoghurt, are also on offer as are a choice of traditional Turkish pizzas called Pideler, a stone-baked, boat-shaped dough with a crispy outer crust filled with a mixture of toppings. Desserts feature Baklava. And why not finish with Raki and Turkish coffee? Anatolia is a great choice for a party or celebration with several set meal choices.

Call 01253 788515 Available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday I eat here for the first time last Thursday and from walking in the door the atmosphere, service and food was superb. Only gripe is the price of the alcohol, but the food more than made up for that. Excellent place to visit if you like Turkish Food. Greeno It was a very quite restaurant which i dont know why as the food is fantastic. Had starters which was very filling with very fresh soft tasty bread. Service is very good and friendly staff. Will go there again for sure. Highly recommended. Natasha Delightfully fresh restaurant. Went for lunch mid week so it was quiet. The staff are very efficient and very charming with good sense of humour, nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent. We did order too much as we hadn't reckoned on the home made bread which was irresistible, whitebait starter was best Ive tasted as was the calamari. Everthing fresh, spicy and beautifully served. We shall be returning. Well done Ann My work colleagues and I went to try the turkish food, and we weren't let down. The food was amazing, good sized portions, and full tummies all round! There was a relaxed and happy atmosphere, with a great friendly service, and we would definately recommend Anatolia if you want a great evening with lots of choice for everyone. A must!!! Tracey Holt Visited Anatolia for Saturday lunch with a friend in December. We were the only customers at the time and the service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Food was fresh and tasty and just enough for a satisfying lunch, can't wait to return for dinner and sample the delights from the open wood bbq! Lyndsey L
