If the proprietor of the multi-award-winning Eating Plaice in Fleetwood looks familiar, it might be because he was once a rock star, travelling the world as a drummer with Jimmy Page, Whitesnake, Gary Glitter, Tony Williams and Bruce Davis. For the past 11 years Ronnie and Jean been settled at this family-run Lord Street fish & chip shop which opens seven days a week – from 11.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Saturday and from noon until 6.30pm on Sundays. Fresh Norwegian fish is delivered every day. The restaurant is fully licensed and they reputedly serve the biggest fish in Fleetwood -- at between 10 and 12 ounces per fillet – as well as delicious homemade and Holland’s pies, puddings, sausages and fish pie. The Eating Plaice has a 5-star rating for hygiene and can seat up to 46 diners in the restaurant.

Fantastic family run establishment! What a warm welcome always received in the restaurant by Queenie and her girlies!
