I can say that the service was excellent, very warm and welcoming and the food just superb. The Bangledeshi flat fish and the aubergine starters were fantastic. My mouths watering just thinking about the meal! We'll definitely be going back soon. Keep up the great work guys. Tracy I have visited the Moghul on several occasions with friends or my husband. I have never had a meal there that wasn't delicious and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Jane I ate here with my Mum and Husband, I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The service was fantastic and our waiter even recommended a dish for my Mum that turned out to be perfect choice for her. We have eaten in lots of Indian restaurants all over the UK and this was as good as our all time favourite in Birmingham. The only small criticism I would make is that I would prefer the food to be served in proper metal balti dishes. If I'm ever back in St. Annes I will definitely return. Natalie Ummm?! I have not been here for at least a year and was excited to revisit last night. The place has certainly moved on. The new menu has lost its variety and excitement. The food is okay, but I remember it being outstanding. The service and welcome is impeccable, but the new decor feels cool and less cosy. It's a shame. johnny I was working in this area that week, the place look pretty impressive from outside so I walked in. I would rate the service 5* the food 5*. The had a lamb shank curry with a generous minced lamb on the side with chapatti! Delicious!!! Thank you to the Moghul Team! Jay
The recently refurbished Moghul started life in 1988 and has matured into what some would say is the best Indian in Lytham St Annes. Owner Danny specialises in Indian and Bangladeshi balti and khorai dishes, eat in or takeaway, and as well as the extensive main menu there is a good-value Early Bird offering served Monday to Thursday and a special a la carte Sunday Banquet. The service is exceptional and the owner is always on hand to offer advice and encourage you to try out new dishes. Red Fort in Lytham is a sister restaurant.
