Sunday Lunch. We were 8 people, and had booked a lunch for just before a balloon trip from the very nearby Mote Park. Whilst it's on a busy road, we found parking just past the pub easily. As it says it's 'Like a country Pub in a town setting' Made to feel very welcome. Sunday Lunch for £ 8 - lovely choice of 2 roasts or delicious veg tart option. Enormous selection of very well cooked veg to go with it and big mention for the individual summer puddings delicious. We left a folder with our tickets for the flight in the pub - but luckily the landlord called us immediately to let us know. Thank you very much!! Unexpected live music too and although a little loud, was lovely. Friendly, lovely local - we live miles away but if you don't Go there!
