We have visited Prosecco on many a Sunday afternoon and have always been really impressed with the 3 course offer. The calzone is really good. Make sure you leave room for dessert as both the tirimisu and the profiteroles are awesome.

Midweek special £11.95...3 courses cracking value..Had a bottle of the house red at £12.50 which is the nicest house red I've had in a long time.Great service in tastefully furnished spotlessly clean surroundings.I recommend the spaghetti carbonara..Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

We visited on sat the march the 26th. First impression was very good. Its a shame we was not so impressed with our first waiter who took our meal order we found him to be very surly & not very helpful.

The food was fine for a Bolton restaurant but the work done in the kitchen was badly let down by the indifferent service. Having arrived at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm booking, a better explanation than 'the weather' should have been available when we had to ask what was the problem; we finally sat down at 7.55pm. The drinks order was taken but not delivered until another waiter took pity on us and we reordered. Part way through the meal a waiter pushed past and nearly knocked us out of the way. When I called the manager over his only response was, 'sorry'. Two basic courses where served and that was it, no desserts were offered or coffee. We left at 10.20pm, sadder but wiser.

There is a new menu, new management/owner and lovely interior at Prosecco. Very tasty food and some good offers on at the moment, may be with the new ownership, so I'd recommend you give this place a visit. As it's open all day from 11am, you could call in for a coffee and home made crepe (with chocolate, nutella, banana and fresh cream), or sample the lunch time menu. They have a good Sunday roast on offer too. I wish the new owners success in their venture.
