Anyone who knows me will know that I love pies!!My wife tells me I'm just like a Meat & Potato Pie, crusty on the outside and all mushy on the inside!Get yourself down to Knott End, BUT BE WARNED, dont eat all the pies!,that's my job!!!

If you?e looking for a Really Good chippy, then look no further. I was doubtful when I first saw the chips as they looked a bit pale and soggy, Pale they are but far from soggy and the taste, just as you always remember but no-one gets right. Well They Do Here! The fish was very fresh perfectly cooked. Lovely crisp golden batter succulent white flaky fish that was at least 10" long. I will going back for more for sure. Highly Recommended but I afraid to say how good it really was for fear of having to face long queues on my return.

Four of us dined here for the first time since new owners took over. We were made welcome though it was close to closing time. The chips were perfection, the fish fresh and the puddings very good. We will visit again.

The Chippy was a delight to visit. Our Bert loved the special malt vinegar although it gave him indigestion later.
