The Eagle at Barrow
A sister pub to the multi-award winning Fence Gate near Burnley, the Eagle at Barrow opened in 2008 and is a more contemporary version of its sibling. As well as a brasserie, bars and function room, the Eagle boasts an on-site deli and butchery where you can buy the 35-day-aged steaks and the many flavours of sausage for which these two pubs are famous. Various cuts of steaks and a sausage of the week also feature on the brasserie menu, along with a range of modern and traditional British dishes. Diners have a choice of various different rooms with lots of nooks and crannies, a private dining room and a large al fresco area when weather permits. There is also a private function room upstairs which is very popular for weddings and can accommodate up to 150 guests. The Eagle has won a string of awards from both Northwest Fine Foods and Made In Lancashire.AwardsTaste Lancashire

Call 01254 825285 Available on Monday After being spoilt living in Southern California I did not think anybody could come close. But the Eagle at Barrow is the Best. I had the Poached salmon and Shrimp on Granary bread. I have never had anything like it. It was one of the best meals I have ever tasted. In fact I will be here for a few more months, and I will be back. After trying several Resturaunts in the Ribble Valley, this is by far the best. Alison Wiglesworth The Eagle at Barrow is a perfect spot when the sun shines with its large Al Fresco dining area. We enjoyed a great lunch yesterday. I had to have one of their award winning sausages I have heard so much about. I wasn't disappointed! My wife had the Lancashire tart and was similarly impressed. The interior is very well appointed too. So it's a place to go whatever the weather! Pure
