Seeing an item on the menu which I think was the " famous " Ley inn fish and chips we decided to try them. The chips were actually quite good, but I do not expect to be served cheap frozen fish when the item is advertised as something special. It was almost inedible and had we not been starving we would not have eaten it. Most of it was left on the plate and when the waitress asked if the meal was ok, told her it was not. The lady behind the bar appeared to be in charge and it must have been obvious when two fish are returned hardly eaten that they were not up to standard. I don't like making a fuss so we just paid and left. The lady clearly was not interested at all and there was no apology or interest of any kind. We simply wont return and will try and warn others to avoid the place.

what a let down! ordered sandwiches and chips.Mum ordered sausage and mash and onion gravy in giant Yorkshire pud. The bread was dry, hardly any beef, the chips were greasy. My mums was just that no vegetables not appealing to the eye, you eat with your eyes! and very bland and tasteless.! We wont be going here again.
