I recently dined here on valentine's weekend 2011. i cant say a bad thing about this place. we arrived slightly earlier than our booked time but was still seated quickly, we where shown to our table a candle lit and the menus given. the staff were brilliant everyone from manager down to waiter where all polite, dressed well and genuinely proud of there job. the fact there that the manager and the waiter where Italian helped set a lovely scene. the food was excellent, ranging from prices around £8 to £15 depending what your looking for and around £5 for a starter or desert. the food took a little while to arrive to our table about 30-35 mins but i must add every seat was full in the restaurant. if you like a good authentic Italian and a nice cosy feel you should definitely try this place.
A few bad reviews by people try to put this place down but don't let them put you off. Me and my girlfriend had a lovely memorable night and will definitely be returning in the future.

I don't dine out frequently in my late years, but I've been here twice recently, once as a guest and once as a host. The setting is intimate and relaxed, the food was first-class and the service attentive. Parking doesn't seem to be difficult in the evening. One of my guests was Italian, and delighted by the whole experience. I shall certainly go again.

Terrific Food. Our favourite Italian restaurant. A little Gem. Menu extensive and an EXCELLENT wine bin. One of the best. Parking though can be difficult Nine on Ten.

The choice on the menu is great, actually I loved the point that their menu is different and the dinning at Sasso was very good I will go there again.

Gran Sasso is a buzzy, authentic Italian restaurant. The food is beautifully cooked, the service friendly and efficient and the prices reasonable. Highly recommended.
