Hi just had the worst meal i have ever had we were booked in at 6.00pm and at 7.15 my husband asked how much longer we would have to wait and the barlady said she was sorry and gave us some free drinks and we still waited while 7.45.(We were later told by the chef that because we were 5 mins late then he cooked everybody elses food first ),If we had known what was to follow we should have gone.My motherin law couldn't eat her roast dinner pork was like rubber potatoes were rubbish it was all not nice,my husband ordered medium rump steak at £13.00 and it was awful the chips werelike last weeks. The fish my daughter order was a grey in colour was not fresh and the batter was so chewey.only 2 meals out of 5 were only just ok.We only paid for 3 of our meals and we shall never return to this pub which is a shame as we have been going in there for about 20 years since my daughters were born .The only advice i could give to the chef who i think is the owner is to employ a chef and try his hand behind the bar as his food is disgustng.
