The new licensees of the Hatfield Chace pub at Hatfield, near Doncaster, used it as their local for many years but they’re now behind the bar instead of in front of it. It’s a large pub that’s very popular with families because you can eat and drink here in sight of the kids play area, leaving you free to enjoy your meal in peace. The Hatfield Chace serves good pub food with a special board that changes daily and a special childrens menu. There’s a large beer garden and an outside play area and a private room is available for functions. Food is served from 12 noon until 9pm, Monday to Saturday and from noon until 7pm on Sundays.
