28 JULY 2010 we went to SIMPLY INDIAN in Pollington and what a disappointment! We spent £54.95 and we got sub-standard food. We took it home and found the salad to mouldy! We wonder how long it had been sitting tubbed up in the fridge? The samosa were bought in frozen. The spring rolls were supermarket freezer job! the naans were not in-house made! The Bombay Aloo were bad----- the chef must read some text books on Indian cooking and perhaps even pay a visit to India or proper Indian set up to find out what Indian food is really about! The curries were BAD ---- sub-takeaway standard let alone restaurant standard! Please, please if you are determined to sell the quality of food do not pass it on as genuine Indian food! Rip-off the English client if you wish to BUT please have some shame and not call it Indian food. You have well laid out place and it ought to lift your game. SORRY YOUR PLACE SCORES 0 POINTS IN MY BOOK.

Worst indian meal ever been for. Service poor and food was very salty. Also very cold inside. When we asked for a bottle of wine the waiter brought 2 glasses and the bottle and just put them on the table, he didn't even unscrew it or asked us to taste it. The onion bhajis were terrible. Will not be going back. Very very disappointed.
