This is a negative comment: I took my husband and three children (17, 15, (with autism) and 11) on a Saturday afternoon in November to celebrate my son's 17th Birthday (pre-booked by email). We were seated downstairs opposite the kitchen door (or the washing-up station as I am now led to believe) away from everyone else even though there seemed to be plenty of seats upstairs where the atmosphere was buzzing. The staff had numerous visits from friends who's language was 'colourful' with plenty of swearing and high-fives. I had requested a special birthday drink on my original email booking, this didn't arrive. The kitchen door was opened frequently revealing a non to clean floor which was slightly off putting and I felt, in general, as though we were an inconvience to the staff. I have spoken to the General Manager since who was very appologetic and promised to send some sort of compensation which of course has never arrived. I didn't mention the problems on the night so as not to upset my son's celebrations and I am not very good at complaining! I realise this isn't the worst experience in the world but I wish I had spent my hard earned £100 elsewhere!
