just spent new years eve 2010 at the canton palace the experience was HORRENDOUS we were seated by the door 6 of us plus a child in a wheelchair, it was freezing as people were coming in an d out, we sat down at 7 oclock and waited for 20 mins for any 1 to ask us did we want a drink they then took are order aswell. the drinks came at 7-40 followed by dishwater that was supposed to be soup!!!!!...we then waited another hour for are next course that was cold!!!...we finally decided at 9-45 we had had enough as did alot of people who refused to pay. we paid wot we owed and told the staff it was not good enough who just looked at us BEMUSED!!!! never would i recommend or ever go back to this unfriendly and dysfunctional restaurant. HORRIFIC~~~

When I asked my Uncle how the evening had gone he said - "Once again they did us proud, the meal was perfect, the staff were fantastic so attentive and made us feel special and sang Happy Birthday as they presented her with the bouquet of flowers. It was a really cracking night".
He was talking about an evening out with his partner whose birthday they were celebrating.
What can you say but "Magic - thank you all once again for a job well done and your kindness to two very special people".

Satisfied Customer
"An amazing experience" these were the words of my 82 year old uncle and his partner over the phone (I live in Hertfordshire and this was my birthday present to them).
"We had a fabulous meal - the service was wonderful and the kindness was fantastic AND they brought us a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to us. A little embarrassing but magical and when we left we got a doggy bag and some money back".
What more can you say but "Magic - Thank you all Very Much for a job well done". Ray (Hertfordshire)

This was a gem of a place - small and cosy , good food, and friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend for couples or parties. Definitely somewhere we could be regulars for!
Peking Garden
The food here is delicious, and the staff are very welcoming. I particularly recommend the vegetarian spring rolls, Beijing-style sweet and sour chicken (which my chinese friend assures me is very authentic), and the lemon chicken.
