Lovely place but the service is terrible. Three tries at this venue now and all failed miserably on service. Max
My wife and I had carvery there last night 26 11 2012. We had not been there for over 5 years and I have to say we were both very supprised at how good the food was. Service very attentive and friendly, and atmosphere far better than last time we went there . We only live 1 mile away so keep it to that standard ,we will be a regular visitor. Phil Cunliffe
starter was lovely, although we weren't given extra plates and wasn't asked if it was enjoyed. The "mash" was really dry and the giant Yorkshire pudding tasted and felt like it had been in the oven all day - very burnt and rubbery towards the middle. Again, we weren't asked if we were satisfied with our meals and staff seemed to be rushing around hastily without actually doing anything. I won't be going there again for a meal, even if it is a beautiful scene. Danielle
i think the waterside is a great place to eat. Great atmosphere and good food. Ive heard its going to be a carvery next year and i can't wait to try it. Good location too. Anonymous By RequestSee all Waterside Reviews.
