Vegetarians - avoid this restaurant, unless you want to be made to feel like a third class citizen. Chose this restaurant because on their website there appeared to be a good vegetarian choice. However, when we arrived, and had already started on our first drink, I studied the menu to find that the only vegetarian starter was the soup of the day, and there was no vegetarian main course. (The manager insisted that the Parmesan they used WAS vegetarian. This was either a blatant lie or showed (from someone in the restaurant trade) a worrying lack of basic food knowledge. It was either not Parmesan, or was not vegetarian - there is no such thing as vegetarian Parmesan - either way it was falsely represented. I had the soup, and they managed to rustle up an alternative veggie main course which was frankly pretty inedible (tasted like it had about a cup of salt in it - maybe that's what you get for politely complaining.). As I didn't eat it, they did only charge me half price for my main course, leaving a total bill of £93 for two people for an evening I wouldn't ever want to have to repeat. Hate having to complain, but I wouldn't want another vegetarian diner to have to pay for the privilege of a wasted evening.

Visited Galleria for our usual Christmas meal and was not disappointed. Food, service and Christmas decor excellent.. I think this is a special gem of a restaurant that you should try.

Apologies this should have been posted on 13 May!!
Just wanted you to know how good a night we had last night! Service and attentiveness exceptional as was the food. I had (for the second time) the mackerel roulade and pickled cucumber - brilliant, as was the chicken course.
My friends and I have been since this date and will continue to do so,

We have visited the Galleria about 6 times in the last 2 years. The quality of food and service is second to none. The art on the walls make great conversation starters too. Tucked away in a small village, this is easy to miss, but its well worth seeking it out. We've never had anything but a great experience, and the owners are happy to discuss special requests too.

Just come back from the Galleria for my Birthday meal having been once before for my wife’s Birthday and we went for the early evening menu my wife had the shoulder of lamb my daughter and I upgraded to rib eye and fillet steak and all the dishes melted in the mouth starters were lovely presented and the main courses as good if not better than some of the top class restaurants in Liverpool city centre, highly recommended and look forward to next visit, maybe next week that good x

Visited Saturday 11th Feb to celebrate valentines. We booked well in advance and were really looking forward to it. All went well until after our starter when the next table who had arrived after us received their main dish before us which was slightly irritating. We had ordered 2 medium/well steaks. 2 steaks were brought to the next table and immediately sent back for being not to their liking - I heard the lady complain that they were underdone - could these have been our medium steaks? Then we received our steaks - could barely cut through mine. Medium/well to me is done on the outside and pink in the middle. There was no pink whatsoever on my steak - it was dry and had not taste to it. Gave it to my boyfriend in the end. Then whilst waiting for them to clear our plates photos started falling from the walls causing people to become unsettled. We weren't even asked did we want the dessert menu - we were asked did we want coffee so we thought you know what - lets just go. Don't really want to spend any more money here bearing in mind poor steak was £20+.so we paid the bill and left. A huge disappointment. Won't ever go here again. Not at all value for money.Kozi food is cooked far better.

I ate here on Xmas eve with my family and can honestly say it was the worst food I have ever eaten. The "monkfish wrapped in pancetta" was actually wrapped in thick cut bacon. Which meant the fish was horribly overcooked. It was served with spinach that the chef hadn't been bothered to drain properly and therefore looked (and tasted) like wet socks. My dessert was the "festive crumble" which resembled a sludgy apple soup with some sawdust scattered on top.
In addition to bad food we had poor service with long waits for wine. I would strongly recommend people to avoid this restaurant. I would also advise the chef to get down the job centre and look for a new trade.
