After looking around for at least over an hour I was lucky enough to find Shikara, however despite turning up late I was lucky enough to be served. The food was very tasty especially chicken madras I still have the taste in my mouth the Daal was nicely done with garlic it was nice and thick. It's probably the only Indian between Sloane Square to West Brompton.Worth paying a visit. Nathan

8 of us visited Shikara while visiting London. Excellent food, good selection of food and drinks. One of us had phaal (extremely) hot which was cooked with a rare chilli niga mirch (cobra of chilli) we enjoyed it very much, however our friend who had phaal did regret following morning. Ian

After a visit to this restaurant this evening i think it wouldn't be right to write few lines about this eat-out. I went visited with my partner for the very first time. The restaurant was half empty as the world cup season and the whether hits red but they had 6/7 waiters and waitresses to serve customers. They were extremely helpful and smart I found it a bit unusual in my experience. We were served promptly and efficiently. The service was outstanding as well as the food. Its hard to describe overall this place is outstanding. Sharon
