Damn, what a shame! So much potential, wow! But should of listened to your own advice; keep it simple, don't try to do too much & stick to what you're good at. You got your fingers in too many pies and lost sight of what makes a good restaurant. Got to remember you are running a restaurant for the benefit of your diners, not cooking for your own ego. Damn!

I went here on Saturday for lunch with another 5 people; we arrived at 12:30. As soon as we arrived at the main doors the butler came over straight away and opened the taxi door, he then showed us inside where we were met by another butler who showed us to Gordon Ramsays restaurant. The Maitre d then introduced himself and said happy birthday to my friend, he then said we have reserved the best table for you. At first we all thought he would say this to everyone, but he actually sat us at the chefs head table which was at the top of the restaurant in its own little booth. Another waiter then came round with the wine/champagne menu, we decided to order the magnum of champagne, and this was a very good choice. Around 15 minutes later the waiter came back round and took our food order. I went for the Fois Grais with walnut and cress salad this was very very tasty. For the main I had the loin of lamb with carrot puree & glazed vegetables yet again this was amazingly presented and very tasty. For the final course I had the dark chocolate brownie with blood orange salad & vanilla ice cream. Gorgeous. Before we had the starters the Maitre d came over with what he said was a treat from the head chef. He presented us with a garlic and onion soup with wild mushroom this was really light but very tasty. Around 20 mins after we had finished the desserts we were presented with another course which was chocolate truffles & passion fruit jellies, these were so different to anything I have tasted before and I have to say this ended the meal with a very very sweet exciting taste. To top it all off the head chef then requested that we go through to the kitchen and meet him. We all were more than happy to do this, we all met him and had our picture taken with him. Thank you to all the staff involved in making this lunch time truly amazing.
