Located just off Manchester’s Deansgate, The Grill On The Alley is part of the Blackhouse Restaurant & Bar group, where it’s fair to say they have a healthy obsession with seafood and steak. The quality of the produce is everything here and the chefs keep their intervention to a minimum, offering a menu that’s a combination of popular requests and old favourites. Choose from a la carte, brunch, childrens and set menus along with a great selection of wines, beers and cocktails from the bustling bar. The Grill On The Alley has booth seating available and can cater for large parties. They also have free wifi access and regular live music. Open from 11am until midnight Sunday to Thursday and 1am Friday and Saturday with food served from noon until 11pm.

We had a great evening here, lovely steaks and a fab toffee banana dessert, we arrived in time to see the pianist which finished it of nicely. We will be going back! ScarlettJo The perfect place for any Xmas party! WOW! Grill on the Alley made our office party the perfect way to end the year! We had a fantastic night with fantastic food, great cocktails and embraced the brilliant ambiance all night. The only negative of the evening was it had to end! A sure thing we will be back next year!! Tom Ate in the bar at the GRILL on the ALLEY on Saturday night. We didn't book and couldn't fit in the restaurant, so we opted for the bar which I wasn't best pleased about to be fair. But I had a lovely meal and the service was just as good as in Restaurant. I had changed my mind at the end as it was great to see the pianist downstairs playing. I chose the Seabass and my partner the prawns; lovely and fresh. Had the cheesecake for afters which was divine. Would dine in the bar again! Thorton I must say I was impressed with my meal at the Grill on the Alley, I had the fillet steak and my partner went for the tuna and neither of us could find fault. I have been here a couple of times now and every time has been a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Well worth a trip. Lauren Crabtree Extremely Good! I took my staff for Christmas dinner and it was excellent. It was Friday evening and packed to the rafters but despite this we were served promptly, professionally and cheerfully. Ok it was a straightforward Christmas Menu that we had chosen but the food was faultless. Well done guys, we'll be back!! Bon Viveurs
