Very poor, ambiance was that of a transport cafe on a busy motorway.
Chicken Tandoori was tough, Lamb Madras had more gristle than meat.
Very disappointed.

Our favourite restaurant in the Heatons: excellent food. Everything is prepared for you by the chef & if you do not like coriander (husband) they will leave it out!Lamb KULCHI , which has to be booked in advance, is magnificent! It is a party piece!
Favourites: Heaton Tandoori masala special, tandoori prawns, pasanda, dansak & kasmiri rice with apple & cashew nuts.
Beer makes the meal expensive. Ask for a jug of water & lemon slices after the pint perhaps...

Love this place, food is absolutely delicious, staff charming, and I love receiving a carnation on leaving!

Delicious food - if you want something that is not on the menu they will cook it for you. Staff are very friendly and efficient. All 'the locals' love this restaurant.
Heatons Tandoori Restaurant
We are regular visitors here and think it is the best tasting indian food in Manchester! The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome.
Heatons Tandoori Restaurant
Very good quality local Indian Restaurant. I recommend the Aloo or Chicken chat to start and the Murgh Tikka Badahi (fillet of Chicken in a red creamy sauce) is excellent. The price is even cheaper on a Sunday afternoon.
Heatons Tandoori Restaurant
It may conform to all the stereotypes of flock wall paper and the traditional local Indian, but the food here is suprisingly good. Each dish has a distinct and unique flavour, without hiding behind a wall of chilli, so that even the milder dishes are all memorable and combine well if there are a few of you eating. Of course if you want heat they will be happy to oblige. Apart from the curries the breads are nicely done and they also do a nice Chicken Shashlick which comes with large chunks of grilled chicken, onion and peppers. The service is good and the price is embarrasingly low, so leave a good tip!
