What a place good food, drinks, and what about the service who ever runs this place knows their stuff from uniform to manner they have got it bang on

Very pleasantly surprised to find good quality inexpensive food in these surroundings, wouldn? say it had a particular Irish feel but well worth another visit

I wouldn't rave on about the "Irishness" of this multi floored pub, because basically thats all it is, a pub. However, the food is excellent. The Mussels as a starter or main are really great. The "Irish" stew again excellent, both served with bread. The prices are really really cheap. Good food, well prepared & served.

Wow not what I expected at all! Really impressed great food, brilliant live band and very cute Irish men behind the bar! What more could a girl ask for?

I accidentally stumbled upon Waxy's one lunchtime. It was wonderful to find an establishment that still serves wholesome freshly prepared food at reasonable prices with excellent customer service and surroundings to match. I have eaten in Waxy's many times since and have always experienced the same consistency in service, quality of food and relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend Waxy O'Connor's to anyone who wants to experience the pleasure of true Irish hospitality!
