Me and my partner visited thali a few days ago. As thali is a restaurant situated in the quayside we expected it too be quite luxurious however our expectations were wrong. Thali is behind in terms of decor however the food was quite good. The drinks and food which we ordered were late but in the end we did receive an apology. The food price is reasonable although the service must be improved if they expect return customers.

My partner and i visited thali a few days ago.
The food was ok but the customer service was quite poor. We were given soft drinks which we ordered, however they were flat meaning they had no fizz or taste to it. When i explained the problem to the waiter he replied sorry but did not offer a replacement for the soft drinks. I was not happy for the reason that i paid for the drinks but my partner and i could drink it as it was flat and we were not offered a replacement.
Overall the food was eatable but the drinks were not drinkable. Hope you understand by what i mean.

A wonderful meal - the food was well above the usual standard in an British-Indian Restaurant, with subtle flavours and quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. You MUST visit Thali if you like Indian - unfortunately, you won't be able to do it that often, because the prices are into the expensive end of the spectrum.
