This restaurant is the best kept secret in County Durham.
We went on a Saturday night and, although there was a constant stream of people coming into the bar for a drink while waiting for their take away, the restaurant was almost empty, which is a great pity because the food here is excellent. The waiter was very patient, explaining the ingredients and flavours of some of the dishes I hadn't seen on other menus.
The portions were generous, full of flavour and the nan breads light and fluffy. The popadoms were light and crispy and the dips were all home made. I have eaten Indian food all over the Norh East and Yorkshire and thought my two favourite restaurants were in Leeds and Durham.Despite the empty tables,Ive added Tow Law to the list.
