Concernedcustomer
Felt I had to review this restaurant as I was upset by the customer service I received today. Half way through my baguette I discover what appears to be finger prints of blood on the bread and plate. Feeling sick I take my food to a waitress who rather unapologetically whisks it away to the kitchen. 10 minutes later she bristles past my table and simply says " It is cranberry sauce by the way, but I have taken the amount off your bill". I was surprised and offended by his naive she felt I was. My friend had cranberry sauce on her sandwich and to try to ease my anxiety she tried to create fingerprints using the sauce. Impossible. It was blood that I had found on my sandwich and instead of apologising and admitting error the waitresses and manager continued to deny it.I approached the manager and explained how.upset I was; still no apology. After an increasingly frustrating discussion, in which she refused to test her cranberry sauce theory, she agreed that we would not have to pay for my friends sandwiches either. Needless to say they had no interests in finishing lunch after my discovery.I recognise that people make mistakes, and that errors are made when preparing food. However, to find blood on your food is completely unacceptable. Despite my plea for reassurances, the manager could not offer any firm explanation as to where the fingerprints had come from. At the very least it was cross contamination of food and the food is not bring prepared properly. Will not be returning here again!!
