Great location opposite the sea front, lovely well kept walled garden, ideal for kids, real ale and a large menu choice in the pub. Also additional upstairs al la carte restaurant - untried.

The Smuggled Retreat – MineheadJudging by the other reviews, this place seems to have deteriorated somewhat. The curries were of a good standard but not exceptional. The service was pretty good though not great. The ambience was lacking but the style of the place was entirely different from anywhere I've been before (in a good way). The main problem I found was that the 'pilau' rice had a distinct taste to it which was rather unlike I've had before and was not to my satisfaction. Overall, an enjoyable experience but not one that I will be repeating in a hurry.
Oh Calcutta – Bristol City CentreStayed Sat night at the hotel. Very friendly, hard working staff. Rooms very clean, recently refurbished. Restaurant good, nothing fancy but good. Live entertainment on some evenings. We saw a singer who was excellent and had everyone dancing etc. Good breakfast in the morning too.We paid £39.50 per person for B&B. Had room with sea view.
Mentone Hotel – Weston Super MareWe thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this friendly restaurant in Bath. It was great to see the food being freshly prepared in the open style kitchen. The menu was different, very difficult to choose, which is always a good sign! We chose the crab and salmon cakes which were delicious, served with a surprisingly tangy salsa, a superb spicy chicken which was served with a chilli spiced coleslaw, and our teenagers had very filling pizzas with nicely different toppings. Wine list good too. The staff couldn't have been nicer and we will definitely revisit next time in Bath. Please open one in Truro!!
Firehouse Rotisserie – BathWe order take away from Omar? weekly or sometimes more often. The curry always has large chunks of meat and the naan breads are excellent, the rice is cooked to perfection and they make the best bhaji's we've ever tasted. The delivery service is rapid and the food is always piping hot.
Omar’s Indian – Horfieldwonderful food with great service every time.
Bottelinos – Staple HillI adore this place. It is the best japanese food I've tasted in a restaurant and the prices are so good that it doesn't hurt my wallet to go back again and again. The express lunch deal is great value although I found two courses at lunch a bit much. I recommend the yasai noodles in soup, I've had it twice and it is fantastic!
Obento – Bristol City CentreReally love it there. They do the Best salad carts! My boyfriend loves the burgers and we always get really goodservice, but the music can be a bit dodgy.. Ummm hungry now will go there tomorrow!

Golden House The – StreetI live close to this pub and visit it on numerous occasions for meals. The food is of outstanding quality, always hot and always home made. The staff are very pleasant and polite at all times. The pub and the restaurant have a wonderful atmosphere and you always feel at home. I would recommend this pub/restaurant very highly.
The Moorend Spout – NailseaThe best curry in Keynsham, you can't go wrong. Excellent food and impeccable service. We've eaten out here several times and have never had any problems, best to book for the weekend nights. Take away is available too, although would advise phoning first so you're not hanging around, although you could always get a cheeky drink in whilst waiting!
Cinnamon – KeynshamExcellent food, really good night out - all home cooked. Also Sunday lunch delicious, one of the best in Bristol. Best food in a pub in the area.
Rose Of Denmark – CliftonFantastic, does not need any more wording just bloody fantastic
