Cibo Ristorante – Bristol City CentreI really wanted to like this place having heard and read so many positive reviews, however I went for a meal there with a group of about ten people and it took two hours for us to get our meals! They did provide us with jugs of beer to compensate but this is poor really and I've been put off re-visiting.
Oh Calcutta – Bristol City CentreDidn't get into the ambience of this place... Good for large groups but far from ideal if you want a romantic meal for two. We chose one of the specials that was recommended to us and got the impression that they had made a big vat of the dish and it certainly wasn't individually made for us as in better class establishments. I wouldn't go back!
Oh Calcutta – Bristol City Centregood food good service a good evening out book early
The Blue Bowl Inn – BlagdonSimply one of the top Indian Restaurants in Bristol. The food is without exception...divine....if you like a true Indian Restaurant experience then this is absolutely the place to go.... My husband and I love Indian food and this is joint first place with paprika in Whitchurch... please go.... you cannot fail to be impressed with the food and the ambience is fabulous.... brilliant for both groups and couples.
Kathmandu – Bristol City CentreI've eaten Mexican food countless times on both sides of the Atlantic, so having read the reviews I was really looking forward to visiting the restaurant. What a disappointment! The food was reasonably well prepared, and the service was fine, but the food was tasteless - more specifically, there were no chillies. Ask anyone what's the characteristic flavour of Mexico, and they'll say 'chillies'! So where were they? The helpful waitress said it was because Bristol people don't want them. I'm sorry, but if you don't want chillies you don't go to a Mexican restaurant. It was bland. "We can put some on the side if you want them" our apologetic waitress helpfully added, but that's not the same as cooking with them. It's a Mexican restaurant, for goodness' sake. Give people the option of leaving them out if you want, but don't make it the default position. I'm sorry, but this is one to avoid if you actually like Mexican food.
Casa Mexicana – Bristol City CentreAfter several visits, this restaurant offers unfailingly excellent food at a surprisingly reasonable price. The service is generally very good (one 'iffy' occasion, but not bad enough to spoil the evening), and a good ambience. This one should be on your list for a good evening out.
La Campagnuola – Bristol City CentreBeen our local curry house for past 3 years, can not knock it at all always friendly and will do what they can to make your night a good one. P.s Yummy yummy yum yum!!!
Curry Garden – Weston Super Marevery good food is like to be in Greece ,very nice places too, next to the river , if you are very romantic is the places you must be the bar is very good too only the prices is a bit of expensive but when you be there and see the very nice rooms you don't think of the prices
Opa Meze Bar and Greek Restaurant – BathI used to visit this pub quite regularly and then recently went back. Unfortunately; it is not quite like it used to be, due to one member of staff. I'm afraid i would not recommend this pub to anyone.
Coach House Inn – Weston Super Marein need of money spent on the restaurant and the food which comes from the kitchen needs to be looked at in a very big way so overall was shit for the area were it . would never go back again even if they paid me.
Vincenzo’s Pizza House – Bristol City Centrecannot believe that no one has written a review. well i will be the first then. been going there since i was old enough to go out to dinner without parents. food excellent and consistent. never had a bad time there. waitresses ever so funny and laid back. best Chinese restaurant i have ever been to. keep up the good work girls!!
Golden House – MineheadMy daughter & I ate here for the 1st time before going to the theatre and were warmly welcomed. The waitresses were dressed in thai dresses and charming. The food was exceptional (pad thai noodles delicious) We will definitely return and highly recommend the Blue Ocean.
Blue Ocean – Weston Super MareHaving been to this restaurant on several occasions, I can recommend this one, we normally stay at the Hilton just along the road and have dinner here, we are always made welcome, and staff are helpful and courteous, the food is excellent
Toby Restaurants – Almondsburyi had a pad Thai noodle and a side dish of crispy lamb. they were both are very tasty indeed, which i was recommended by a friend, and i am happy to go back any time. the service was good too, but the down side i personally think abit small of the dinning area, but they were busy, so made the place very cosy.
Hong Kong Bistro – BathAn authentic Italian place, real home made Italian food, beautiful atmosphere and service that will make you feel unique. Recommended, The truly unique experience.
Tamburino – YeovilPerfect for a romantic dinner for two or a large party (they have big round tables at the back). The interior is finished in top quality fashion. Ambient lighting and soft authentic Chinese music. Authentic Chinese benches in the bar / waiting area, Chinese framed artwork on the walls and comfy seats with generous size tables. The staff are very helpful, cheerful and always smiling. I have been going here for years and staff turnover is very very low which is a good thing. Food quality is heads and shoulders above the rest. Consistently delivers delicious authentic Chinese food. The head chef and owner have been in partnership for over 20 years with over 60 years experience between them so they know what they are doing! The only negative if I have one is the parking, but there is a Morrison's 5 mins walk away, but we know how some people can be lazy these days! 10/10 *
China and China – TauntonI heard a lot in the past about Tamburino's that it has been nominated and won as the best Italian Restaurant in the area,so I was very curious and one day I went in the Cinema which is just 2 minutes walk from Tamburino's and decided to see and try myself I found it very beautiful, amazing food ,unbelievable friendly service. They have an amazingly huge menu and a special board with anything you would ever wish of. Very easy to park, beautiful location and it is real Italian place with Italians that make it special. Strongly recommended for any occasion....
