The food here was excellent! I was very impressed by the service I received. When I regularly visit my family in Bristol I look forward coming to the Beijing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Beijing Chinese Restaurant – AlmondsburyOkay, okay i have worked at Demuths for 18 months, but to be honest i wouldn't want to eat anywhere else after eating here. It is the most amazing food, and i can personally guarantee it. I think it says a lot when the staff eat the restaurant where they work. It can provide for all allergy sufferers and everything is organic. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Demuths – BathWhat a find - a secret walled courtyard which was a sun trap and perfect for alfresco dining. It was wonderful to be right in the city yet in an oasis of peace and calm. We had a delicious lunch though service was stretched. I would highly recommend this place as the food was excellent and would like to go again in the evening.
Swan Hotel – WellsI caught sight of a sign for the pub whilst driving out for a Sunday lunch to another pub someone had recommended to me, the look of the logo etc tempted me to take the turn off to the Mill. I was glad I did, this is a really cool gastro pub with tons of outside seating next to a river. Inside the decor was very nice, modern but sensitive to its original features. The bar was brilliantly stocked with unusual world beers, guest real ales and premium spirits. The staff were uniformed and very friendly. The menu was right up my street, I ordered an Erdinger beer and a Sunday roast which arrived very quickly and was perfectly cooked-delicious fresh veg and big Yorkshire to go with the excellent beef. I had never heard of this place before, they cant do much in the way of promotion or advertising as I eat out all the time and always hunt for these kind of places but I will re visit at the earliest opportunity and recommend to others.
Mill At Rode – FromeWe have been to Bauhinia loads of times and just keep going back! It is really good value for money and the food is great. They frequently change their specials and have even changed their main menu since I have been going so there is always something new to try. We usually have a two course meal with a bottle of wine for under £50. Highly recommended!
Bauhinia – CliftonTwo of us ordered the most extensive set dinner and could have fed a secret third person, so huge were the portions. Everything was quite lovely with only small exceptions, and certainly as far as value for money goes nothing could beat our 18 pound a head extravaganza. This was our first meal ever in Bristol and was superb!
Obento – Bristol City CentreWhat a fantastic place. Excellent food, good choice, good portions but most of all very authentic. Would highly recommend but booking is a good idea - ask for a window seat. Can't wait to go back.
Thai Balcony – BathGood place for a quick meal
Yum Yum Thai – BathWe always go here and have a great time. Fab food and great service. Are also happy to make me King prawn in yellow bean sauce even though its not on the menu!!
Beijing Chinese Restaurant – AlmondsburyPoppadom and condiments are the best Ive seen. Curries are 'ok', nothing special.
Natraj Tandoori – TauntonThis is worth visiting for an inexpensive meal in a recently refurbished pub/restaurant. We had a lovely waitress who was more than happy to attend to our needs and she made conversation with us very easily. They also do special deals like 2 courses for 6.96 and if you eat before / after 6pm, there are special rates, too.
Emersons Green Beefeater – Staple HillLovely food, great price considering you can help yourself to unlimited trips to the salad cart. Outdoor play area for the kids, service not so great one young lad who is brilliant and without fail will be on hand to entertain with balloons and crayons sad let down by one waitress who tends to mess up your order, go there and you will see who I mean! Definitely worth a trip.
Lamb and Flag Harvester – Westbury-on-TrymI visited Bella Italia on a Friday and it was pretty busy. Although we were attended to quickly, we did have to wait about 1/2 an hour for a table as they were so busy. Our waitress was friendly and kind and attentive. There were three of us each having a main, a drink and a pudding and it came to roughly £32 which was good for the lovely food we had! have been since!
Bella Italia – Westbury-on-TrymYour mouth will water as soon as you get through the door. Highly recommend choosing from the specials board. Great service with genuine friendly atmosphere. Food to die for!
Prince Of Bengal – TauntonSix of us picked Sands for our son-in-law's birthday - they had been before and loved it. This place was really different and lived up to our expectations of what a Middle Eastern restaurant should be. We have visited Greece and Turkey and the food was quite similar. Our 20 year old son loves exotic and spicy food and he couldn't wait to visit again on his birthday. All in all it was a wonderful experience except we really hate cover charges. We usually tip generously but never if there is a service charge. But I suppose they have to cover themselves (excuse the pun) as the British are not renowned for tipping.
Sands Restaurant – CliftonOf late the food has not been quite as good as it was and recently we found out that the chef we loved so much has left! The food is still really good but they haven? quite got it to the standard that it was. Still worth going to but as for us, we have followed our chef. Still fantastic service.
Bengal Raj – Weston Super MareThe Food was amazing it was so fresh and beautifully presented, the staff were attentive and knew the menu and food! The terrace was a lovely place to start with a drink and also would be lovely to eat out there if it had been warmer ! Overall this was a top find and well worth a visit! 10/10
