Plantation

I have been to Plantation a couple of times and would definitely return. It is a light, airy restaurant and very pleasantly decorated. The food is outstanding for the price and the service is very good. It's great to see the open plan kitchen and watch your food being cooked. The staff are all very attentive and the owner is a diamond.

Wagamama

Great place for a quick bite or a long lunch. The food is well cooked and flavoursome. Noodles cooked perfect! My wife's first introduction to Japanese food and she loved it.

Wagamama – Clifton
Cafe Romna

Unusual selection of dishes prepared with little extra touches. Subtly different to most Indian Restaurants and well worth a visit.

Cafe Romna – Wells
Rajpoot Tandoori

Downstairs to a converted cellar. Good ethnic Indian decoration. Cosy areas to sit with a small bar near the entrance. Unusual range of Indian and Bangladesh regional dishes not often found outside London. The tandoori breads were excellent. Wonderful glass of lassie. Service attentive but unobtrusive.

Sands Restaurant

We dined early in the evening around 7.30. There were already several people in the dining room, and there was no wait for our table, We were greeted gracefully and attentively, our drinks order was dealt with quickly The ambience and decor were pleasant - a cool, arched cellar with understated motifs and objet d'arts carefully placed. Having lived for many years in the Middle East, we felt immediately at home. Throughout the evening, the service was attentive but unobtrusive - the waiters were ready to help and explain the finer details to those of their guests who might have been less than familiar with the contents of their extensive menu. The food itself was plentiful, delicious, authentically Lebanese and beautifully presented. The wine list was certainly adequate, with a range to suit almost any palate, at a price that would not break the bank. All in all, a first class dining experience and a gentle stroll down the memory lane of Middle Eastern cuisine - heartily recommended.

Sands Restaurant – Clifton
Lapswood Restaurant

well the service of the young Janet Dawid was magnificent. the washing up was done to perfection. The steak and kidney pie made by handsome Paul Dawid was delicious. I recommend to any one.

Fishers Restaurant

I could not have celebrated my birthday in a more comfortable and relaxed restaurant than this. The staff were friendly and attentive without being over the top and the food was absolutely sensational. They have a great wine list to choose from and my fish was fresh, delicate and full of flavour. We didn? have to wait long for the food to arrive and the service was professional and without attitude. I will certainly be heading back to Fishers as soon as possible and I urge you to do the same.

Lovely food and they put on some great special events too.

Raj Mahal The

In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in Bristol, Excellent food and service with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere

Raj Mahal The – Staple Hill
Dynasty

Had an excellent meal here. The menu is extensive and has all your favourites cooked amazingly well. I had steamed fish and stir fried vegetables. Which was excellent. Only downside was the bright lighting of the restaurant...not a place for a romantic meal...

Fishworks PLC

You can see why the owner writes first rate fish cookbooks. The restaurant sits alongside the fishmonger's counter and so you can see what is on offer before it is cooked. The ingredients are first class and they are cooked beautifully. All the staff are enthusiastic and helpful. It isn't cheap here - but you know that you'll be paying for good food, cooked well.

Revolution

Revolution bristol has just been re-furbished! looks class man I tell ya! and they've changed the food menu too! definitely worth checking it out!

Lal Jomi Pavillion Restaurant

As an expert in Indian cuisine, I can confirm that the Lal Jomi is the best meal you can get in Bristol, and I have tried many. My only reservation is the service on a Saturday night can be a little slow - a symptom of their success as they are stacked with takeaway orders whilst you can be kept waiting. Saying all that, the quality of the food is definitely worth the wait. 9/10......

Firehouse Rotisserie

Went for lunch whilst on business in Bath. The restaurant was very busy with workers and shoppers, it had a great atmosphere and the smell of the basted chickens spit roasting was enough to send my appetite into overdrive. I had chicken and fries and it was excellent. I only wish we had one where I live in Exeter. It would be the busiest restaurant in town.

We loved this restaurant, the open kitchen had me mesmerised as I watched the chefs at work, I had the seared Tuna done perfectly and my partner the scallops. After the meal we bought some fish to take home.
