Lovely seafood restaurant in Clifton Village. One of our favourite lances to visit. Very down to earth with high quality food and service. We shared a seafood platter with mussels, large prawns, scallops and the butter garlic sauce was divine.

Goodfellows is one of our very favourite restaurants - we come for a treat once or twice a year and look forward to it immensely. This visit was, if anything, better than ever. The ambiance in the new venue is very welcoming - warm without being 'gushy' and professional without being clinical. The food is always delicious and inspiring: the tasting menu, with brilliantly chosen accompanying wines, is perfectly balanced. We are already thinking of booking our next visit.

Good first impression, lovely room with good ambience but another heater near the window end might be a good idea Wrong menus on the table and then still wrong when replacements provided No steak on offer ( although it was admittedly lunchtime ) Service cheerful from lovely servers but skill level a bit below par Food was FANTASTIC Notwithstanding a couple of faults I would highly recommend

We have been regular diners at Fishers for almost 20 years and it is one of the best restaurants in Bristol for both fish/seafood and gluten free options. The fish and chips is superb and it’s the only place I can get a fresh 5 star gluten free version. We have had so many brilliant meals here. The service is always friendly.

My daughter and I had an excellent meal in the Ivy Tree on Saturday 2nd December. I recommend it highly for the food, service and atmosphere.

We are (Belgian) foodies used to particular tasty and quality food from Belgium. Finding food places where we like to treat ourselves are few and far between. (there are occasions we drive a couple of hours just to our favourite place) This is why we were so happy with our visit to Fishers. (which we consider it to be next door to where we live) The food was exquisite and this will become a regular for us. Thank you to the Cook and the ones who buy the fresh produce. My fiancee and I had a lovely dinner here yesterday. It's a place we've been meaning to try for a while, and knowing that it's closing down we had to try it. We're really glad we did and are just sad we won't be able to come back!

Visited on my wife’s birthday and although a bitterly cold night, we enjoyed a warm welcome and a delicious meal. Lovely family run business who made us feel really welcome. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
