Ashoka – BridgendReasonable selection of Veggie food - tasted good but a bit salty. However - definitely worth a trip out and nice to finally see a decent place to eat in Ponty.
Alfreds Bar and Grill – PontypriddWell worth a visit for Sunday lunch. Food is good, drink is good inc wines. Decor is improving every time we go.
The Gradon – Neatheasy to park large play area a very clean establishment the staff were helpful and polite i will return to this historic public house with the family

Jabajak Vineyard Restaurant with Rooms – WhitlandThe food was outstanding and the service is v.good normally but tonight a large party had arrived late to things got a little behind. Notwithstanding the meal was excellent. One would have thought that because they were running late corners would have been cut but this was not so. Trading Post, The – AbergavennyThis restaurant is just excellent, beautifully presented food, outstanding wine list, the staff were very knowledgeable and discreet and the restaurant was totally smoke free. You can tell the food is fresh and the use of local ingredients is excellent. They have just started Sunday lunches once a month and the standard and quality we experienced last Sunday we second to none - you won't find another Sunday lunch this good for many miles. My husband and I always thoroughly enjoy ourselves and I can't recommend it highly enough.
