A friendly welcome from landlord and landlady - good choice of food and real ales - have been a number of times and the welcome and quality never falter. If you are looking for a genuine county pub then i would recommend this. Well worth a visit.

Auberge – AbergavennyExcellent food and service. Food is just brilliant, homemade pies and dishes such as boar casserole and rabbit pie, also serving classics like duck a l'orange. Doesn? take debit or credit cards and that is its only downside. Always take family and friends there when they visit as there is such a varied menu and it is just like a true welsh pub should be.
Rock and Fountain Inn – NeathWe ate at The Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant in Goodwick last night and the food was excellent. Freshly cooked so be prepared to wait. The staff were charming and efficient. A good selection of fish options and meat sourced locally as well. Litre of very quaffable house red only £10.50. Very warm and welcoming little place.

You are always greeted with a warm friendly atmosphere and a smile, which is not always common these days. The Food is out of this world and the Menu is very well put together. Also they offer a lunchtime special which has a variety of dishes available at very good prices. Don't dismiss this place, you can't afford to miss out on some of the best food you will ever taste. My Recommendation - Starter - Pan Fried calves liver on a potato Rosti. Main Course - Oyster of lamb with Mint Gravy. Desert - Any of them, they are amazing !
