Locals. Not as good as it used to be...my plate was more chips than anything else. Food was tasty but not much of it for the price. Good job I checked the receipt as we were charged for desserts we didn't even have. Staff were friendly & tried their best. Disappointed in the drop in standard as per previous visits. Won't be recommending or returning

Haven’t been able to get back to the Kookaba since first Covid lockdown due to son shielding. Went on 15th of June as table of 3. As previous visit it was fantastic and fully recommend it. We had a great meal here yesterday, the steaks were of excellent quality and cooked to perfection - service was attentive but not over fussy which suited us well and we would definitely recommend this restaurant

Excellent all round, good portions, well cooked food, good service, fair prices,.particularly recommend the onion rings, the sirloin steak, the scampi. Also the Surfs out cocktail - strong!
